Kenneth Bazan.
I am a backend developer for HTML, JavaScript, C#, PHP, Unity. I can be a somewhat shy person who can do well in groups but would prefer to work by myself. I enjoy work like sorting or displays as opposed to things like color scheme and planning. Problem solving is a small specialty of mine and I am willing to do any sort of problem solving that is sent my way.
Degree information
I am working on my Associate of Applied Science in Web Programming and Development, with the anticipated graduation date of May 2021. I plan on continuing to learn and hone my craft.
My list of projects:
Unity project
This is a basic Turn-based RPG Unity project that is ongoing. The goal is to make a more extensive game, but the requirements for the project was a working product. I went with a small demo with 3d area to explore and battle enemies. This is still a work in progress and will be for a long time. I started this project with very little understanding of Unity and have learned a lot so far about it and C#.
Discord bot
I have built a discord bot from scratch as a part of a class project using JavaScript to do the primary functions. The bot was a test of knowledge in JavaScript and had to have 15 functions with some having a connection to an API. This project showed me that APIs are great ways to store information. Some APIs listed were very hard to dig through and learn what everything meant, as the documentation was terrible.
URL Storage project
I was a part of a group that made a web page to store URLs in a database. It allows a user to make a login to access this URL on multiple platforms. I have done the front end of the page working on layout and design. Back end code that also affected front end pages is where I did most of my coding that was not in CSS. I had control over links, pictures, and things that span multiple pages.
My first project
This was my first project after one year of coding. It was the year for learning how to make databases and building logins. The first project is a list of games and game accessories that can be edited with an account. I believe it is a building block and helps to show the improvement I can make over one year.
